Hole Eleven - 200 Yard Par 3, HCP 18

A slightly uphill par three. Avoid the yawning bunkers that define the right side of the green. Open to the front, the green accepts shots that roll onto the putting surface.

This hole is named for Captain Nathan Foster: 1833-1874

His willingness to transport coal – dangerous cargo known to spontaneously combust – earned him a reputation for being courageous; it also led to his demise.

There was a 40 minute frost delay, but the courses are now open and carts are available.

Golf carts are available for 18-holes before 12 p.m. and 9-holes before 2 p.m. 

The water filling station on Port has been shut down for the season.
