Hole Twelve - 531 Yard Par 5, HCP 2

A great view from the tee for a downhill tee shot where the longer players will get a great kick from a downslope on the landing area. A bunker left in the second shot area guards the favored side from which to hit the approach to the green.

This hole is named for Captain John Higgins: 1832-1882

After wrecking on the Caroline Islands in the Pacific, he made lemonade out of lemons by marrying a local woman and living out his life there.

There was a 40 minute frost delay, but the courses are now open and carts are available.

Golf carts are available for 18-holes before 12 p.m. and 9-holes before 2 p.m. 

The water filling station on Port has been shut down for the season.
