Giving back to the community is important for any business, perhaps even more so for a municipal enterprise such as The Captains. In addition to the $5 million that the course has contributed to the Town of Brewster’s General Fund since its inception in 1985, The Captains regularly hosts charity golf tournaments. For tournaments that are raising money for nonprofit organizations, we offer significantly reduced greens fees. Should the group opt to dine while here, The Freemans Grille, our food and beverage concessionaire, will also offer special pricing consideration.

Annual Charity Golf Tournaments Held at The Captains:

  • Outer Cape Health Services
  • New England PGA Junior League
  • Captains Junior Golf Day
  • Rally for Women (raises money for the Cuda Women’s Health Center at Cape Cod Hospital)
  • Officer Sean Gannon Benefit (2019 will be first year)
  • The Reggie Higgins Memorial (raises money for Nauset High School Boys Golf)
  • The Wilkie (raises money for Nauset High School Girls Golf)
  • Cape Cod Women’s Golf League (raises monies for various charities)

Many local organizations, both schools and nonprofits, raise funds by raffling or auctioning donated items. In these cases, we provide in-kind donations for rounds of golf.
